Nokia has announced its cheapest Windows Phone with WP 7.5 called Nokia Lumia 510. Initially this smartphone will target India and China and will be in market this November. According to reports, it will cost approx $199 excluding taxes.

Nokia Lumia 510 comes with low hardware specification and will be available in red, yellow, cyan, white and black colours. Nokia Lumia 510 features a 4 inch display with a resolution of 640×480. It is powered by a 800 MHz processor and runs on Windows Phone 7.5 mobile operating system. It is packed with 256 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage but no expansion card slot. Users will also get 7GB of free SkyDrive storage.

It also features a 5 megapixel camera at the back of the device and is packed with a 1,300mAh battery

People who use Windows Phone quickly realize how much more intuitive it is than other smartphone platforms, and Nokia Lumia is the best embodiment of the Windows Phone experience. With the Nokia Lumia 510 we’re looking forward to welcoming more people into the Windows Phone experience.”

In India, It will be launched with Airtel and users will get 500 MB 3G data for free with this phone for three months. Users will also get unlimited MixRadio and Nokia Music for three months.

Commenting on the launch of the Nokia Lumia 510, Director and head, Smartphone Devices, Nokia India, Vipul Mehrotra said, “Nokia Lumia 510 is out Diwali gift to the Indian youth, as it has been designed specifically for markets such as Indian and offers them a fund and personal way to enjoy Windows Phone.”
