MTNL launches two low-cost Android tablets, TZ-300 and TZ-200 in India. These smartphones come in association with Teracom, Indian telecom company. The Teracom Lofty Tab TZ-300 and TZ-200 have been priced at Rs 3,899 and Rs 6,299 respectively.
Both these tablets come with MTNL SIM card with discounted data plans. These tablets will be available in Delhi via various online portals, MTNL Sanchar Haats and Teracom stores.
Both tablets are powered by 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor with 512 MB RAM and runs on Android 4.0 ICS mobile operating system. These tablet will come with 4 GB onboard storage which is expandable up to 32 GB.
Only main difference between these tablets is that Lofty Tab TZ-300 has a 7 inch multi touch resistive screen whereas Lofty TZ-200 possesses a 7 inch multi touch capacitive screen.
Both these tablet supports playback of multimedia files like RM/RMVB, MPEG, MKV, AVI, FLV, VP8, up to 1080p Support. It also comes with various office productivity apps including Google Office Word, PDF, PPT, Excel. Connectivity features of these tablet include WiFi, HDMI support and 3G support through a USB dongle. These tablets are also packed with 3000 mAh battery for power backup.
