Karbonn Launches 3G Android tablet, Angee For Rs.9,900

Indian smartphone and Tablet manufacturer, Karbonn Mobiles has announced one more Android tablet with 3G connectivity. This tablet is called Karbonn Angee and priced at Rs. 9,900.

Angee is a 7 inch tablet that is powered by a Snapdragon S 1 processor. It has a SIM slot and come with Android ICS on board. It comes with HDMI, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity and 1.3 megapixelfront camera.

“Karbonn Mobiles is envisioned to introduce innovative technology across the globe. We are pleased to announce Karbonn AGNEE, the first made in India 3G tablet based on QRD, which will surely take a step forward in making engaged mobility solutions a realityfor the Indian consumers,” said Mr. Pradeep Jain, Managing Director, Karbonn Mobiles.

According to Karbonn, the tablet allows access in 22 different Indian languages and pre-embedded applications like Karbonn Smart Browser, Karbonn Smart games, Facebook, TOI and ET apps.

Company also announced that it will launch two more similar kind of tablets in coming weeks. It already has a good range of low cost tablets in India. Smart Tab tablets are successful in India but it is getting good fight with Micromax. 3G connectivity at this cost will be a plus point for the company.
