Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite, announced back in July, now set to launch in Indian Market. It is now available for pre-order via online retailer Flipkart for Rs. 13,700.

Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite

Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite is a 7 inch Android tablet that is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich and company has also promised a Jelly Bean update for the device. It features a 7-inch display with 1024x600p resolution. It features a 3.2 megapixel camera and a front VGA camera. It comes with 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.

It is also packed with 4100 mAh battery that is strong enough to give 7-9 hours backup.

Key specification of Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite

  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
  • 1.2GHz processor
  • 7″ WSVGA Capacitive Multitouch display
  • Rear 3.2MP camera, Front 0.3MP camera
  • 1GB RAM

Features are nice but there is one problem with tablet which can be a problem for it in Indian market. In India, Karbonn and Micromax has series of low cost tablets and all comes with similar configurations. But prices of those tablets are in between Rs. 5000 to Rs. 7000. But Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite comes for just double price. So it will be hard for the company to get some customers in India
