Google has unveiled its 10 inch tablet Nexus 10 to compete with Apple’s original iPad. This new tablet, built in collaboration with Samsung. With this tablet, Google is now jumping into the market of 10 inch tablet which is being ruled by Apple.

Nexus 10 has a large 10.055-inch display with 2560×1600 pixels(300ppi) resolution. And it runs on Android 4.2 which is a new flavor of Jelly Bean.

“Nexus 10 is the ultimate tablet for watching movies or reading magazines. We wanted to build a premium entertainment device, so we partnered with Samsung to do just that,” Google said about this tablet.

It is powered by a Dual-core A15 Processor with 2 GB RAM and Mali T604 GPU. It features a 5-megapixel camera at the back of the device along with a front 2 megapixel camera for video calling.

Connectivity features of this 10-inch tablet include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and NFC. It also comes with Micro USB and Micro HDMI port.

It is packed with a 9000 mAh Lithium polymer battery that will give you up to nine hours of video playback and more than 500 hours of standby time.

Other Feature includes 3.5mm headphone jack, Microphone, Accelerometer, Compass, Ambient light, Gyroscope, Barometer and GPS

Entry level Nexus will cost $399 which is $100 less than iPad. It will start shipping on November 13 in the US, Britain, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan.
