World’s most popular social network has achieved one more milestone. Facebook now has more than 1 Billion users.

Facebook’s founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has just confirmed on a post saying, “This morning, there are more than one billion people using Facebook actively each month.”

“Helping a billion people connect is amazing, humbling and by far the thing I am most proud of in my life. I am committed to working every day to make Facebook better for you, and hopefully together one day we will be able to connect the rest of the world too,” He added.

The media age of a Facebook user was 22 and top 5 countries where Facebook is most popular are Brazil, India, Indonesia, Mexico and the United States.

Few days back, Facebook has also beat Google and got rank 1 on Alexa traffic rank which shows that Facebook has seen more traffic than Google Now. Although we can not rely on Alexa but we can not deny the popularity of Facebook.
