Pune based electronics company, Byond Tech Electronics has launched a series of low cost tablets. These tablets come between the price range of Rs. 4,300 and Rs. 11,000.

These tablets are available in different screen sizes including 7, 9 and 10-inch screens. These all are powered by Android operating system and have SIM card slots.

All tablets are manufactured in Pune, India. Company is also aiming to launch 3.5 to 5 inch Android smartphone in upcoming months.

“We are targeting sales of a million in a year in the area of tablets PCs and smartphones, we have already invested USD 10 million and in the next one year, we plan to double the spend,” Byond Tech Electronic Sales Director Manish Jain said.

According to company, they have already sold more than 20 lakh mobile handsets since 2009. Although they are new, but their cost and quality can help them to stand in Indian market where low cost mobile phone companies are doing really well. Micromax, karbonn and Lava are the perfect example of this.
