Another Xperia smartphone, Sony Xperia Miro is now up for pre-order in India via popular online retailer Flipkart. It is priced at Rs. 14499 online. This smartphone was announced back in June with Xperia Tipo and Xperia Tipo dual.

Xperia miro

Sony Xperia Miro is powered by a 800MHz Snapdragon processor with 512 MB RAM and runs on Android 4.0 ICS. It comes with 3 GB onboard storage which can be expanded upto 32 GB via microSD card. It also features a 5 megapixel camera along with a front VGA camera for video calls.

Connectivity features of this smartphone includes wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G, Bluetooth v2.1, micro USB and A-GPS.

Key Features of Sony Xperia Miro

  • Android v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS
  • 5 MP Primary Camera
  • 0.3 MP Secondary Camera
  • 3.5-inch TFT Capacitive Touchscreen
  • 800 MHz Scorpion Processor
  • FM Radio
  • Wi-Fi Enabled
  • Expandable Storage Capacity of 32 GB

But the price of the smartphone seems to be high enough for this hardware specification. You will get better smartphone from other companies. I do not think that Sony will get customers for this smartphone. Micromax and Samsung are the main competitors of Sony for this smartphone. Price must be reduced for the success of this phone.
