Today, Nokia has announced the availability of Nokia Asha 308 and Nokia Asha 309. Both smartphones are touchscreen phone and run on Nokia Asha operating system.
Nokia Asha 308 is a dual SIM smartphone with 2G network connectivity while Asha 309 has a single SIM 2G network connectivity along with WiFi data connectivity. Nokia Asha 308 and Asha 309 both have similar 3 inch scratch resistant capacitive touchscreen display with 240 x 400 pixel resolution.
Both Nokia Asha 308 and Asha 309 comes with 2 megapixel fixed focus digital camera with zoom. It can also capture video at 15 fps.
connectivity features of both smartphones includes options like GPRS, Edge, Bluetooth, and USB.
“Our innovative Asha Touch family of devices is designed for people who want a great smartphone experience with lower running costs,” said Timo Toikkanen, executive vice president, Mobile Phones, Nokia.
Both smartphones also come with 40 premium EA games which can be downloaded free of cost. It also comes with many other social media apps including Facebook, Twitter. Nokia also offers Xpress Browser that offers 90% more efficient browsing and faster access to websites.
These phones are expected to launch at approx Rs 5000. We can expect between Rs 5000 to Rs 6000.
