Today, Idea Cellular has announced a new Android smartphone called Aurus. Aurus comes with Dual SIM feature and is priced at Rs. 7,190.

It features a 3.5 inches capacitive touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 800 MHz processor with 256 MB RAM. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It also features a 5 megapixel camera that can also record good quality videos. It also features a front VGA camera for video calling

Aurus comes with 4 GB onboard storage which is expandable upto 32 Gb via microSd card. Connectivity features of this smartphone includes GPS, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE and GPRS. It also comes with all social media and popular instant messaging apps. These apps includes Facebook, Twitter, Orkut, Google apps and Youtube. Other bundled apps include Android Manager, augmented reality app Layar, Currency Converter, photo editor PicSay, Pinball game, Ringdroid and Shazam. This smartphone also comes preloaded with its own App store called Idea App mall

It is packed with 13,000 mAh battery.

Users will also get 2GB of data and Idea TV service subscription free for three months. If users exceed its limit of 2GB, Idea will charge 5 paise per 10 KB.
