HTC just announced its Windows Phone 8 device called HTC 8S. This smartphone is budget friendly but misses lots of features. It runs on Windows Phone 8 mobile operating system.
HTC 8S features a 4 inch paltry WVGA screen protected by Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor with 512 MB RAM. It comes with a 4 GB internal storage which expandable with microSD card. It also features a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash that can also capture videos. This device lacks front camera.
connectivity features of this smartphone includes 802.11 b, g, n (2.4 GHz), Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR, micro USB. It is packed with 1700 mAh battery.
It is expected to hit the stores in early November. HTC also failed to announce the price of this smartphone at this time.
If we take a look on all the features of the smartphone clearly, we can say that the smartphone should be launched last year. No one will even think to have this smartphone. This smartphone is similar to available omnia smrtphones which are now outdated. We are not sure why HTC is going to launch this smartphone which has nothing which can attract customers. At this moment, we have doubt about the success of this smartphone. There are many better alternative of this smartphone will be available in the market with it and for low cost.
