Skype for iOS has been updated which brought some new feature to this popular VoIP app. The main feature in this Skype 4.1 for iOS is that it allow users to share photos in instant messaging. It also improved the battery performance.
To send an image in instant messages in Skype, simply click on the plus icon while chatting with friends and then choose to photo either from device or take a photo from camera of the device. Skype also noted that this photo sharing feature was most requested by users.
Along with photo sharing feature, app has also introduced faster loading times for the app. It also improved the battery performance. Now it is possible to run Skype in background and receive messages and calls.
Download this new Skype 4.1 for iPhone & iPod Touch and Skype 4.1 for iPad. This app will support all devices running iOS 4.3 or later.
