Samsung Electronics has launched World’s first Windows Phones 8 Smartphone at IFA in Berlin. This is really a surprising moment for us because every one was expecting this from Nokia which has a close partnership with Microsoft.

Samsung Unveils First Windows Phone 8 Smartphone

This new Windows Phone 8 device is named as Samsung ATIV S. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor. This device features a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display. This device also features connectivity with HSPA + 42 other networks but nothing was mentioned about LTE.

It features a 8 megapixel camera at the back of the device along with a 1.9 megapixel front camera for video calls. It also features Bluetooth 3.0,NFC and GPS. It will be available with either 16 or 32GB of storage.

Samsung has also showed its tablets running on Windows 8 operating system and Galaxy Note 2. Nothing about the launch has been mentioned but we can expect it after the launch of Windows 8.
