Samsung to unveil Galaxy Note 2 on August 29

Samsung Spokesperson has confirmed that company is planning to launch the next version of Galaxy Note on August 29 at IFA. Samsung has also started sending invitation for this event scheduled for August 29. This event is called Samsung Mobile Unpacked event.

“We plan to unveil the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29,” a Samsung spokesman said to Reuters on Friday, without elaborating. The event will take place two days before the opening of Europe’s biggest consumer electronics trade fair IFA.

Last version of Samsung Galaxy Note was also announced at IFA last year in September and it got more than 7 million unit sales in just 7 months.

At this moment, we can not say about the features of Samsung Galaxy Note 2. But rumors says that Samsung galaxy Note is expected to come with 5.5 inches HD display. It will be powered by 1.7 GHz Quad core processor and will run on Android 4.0 ice cream sandwich operating system. Some rumors also says that it will run on Android 4.1 Jelly bean. It will have a 8 megapixel camera at the back of device with a 2 megapixel camera at the front.
