As expected, today, Nokia has launched 2 more mobile phones in its existing Asha series. These mobile phones are Nokia Asha 301 and Nokia Asha 311. These phones are available for Rs 5,029 and Rs 7,139 respectively.
Commenting about the latest additions in the Asha Touch range, Viral Oza, Director Marketing, Nokia India, said, “The Nokia Asha family has received tremendous consumer response. With a variety of form factors across price points and innovations such as Nokia Browser, Nokia Maps and DRM free Nokia Music, Nokia Asha family has triggered data consumption habits in first time data users. With the launch of Nokia Asha Touch range, we are strengthening our range of ‘mobile internet’ devices that offer these exciting experiences to the consumers.”
Nokia has also tied up with EA sports to offer 40 games for free. These free games includes Tetris, Bejeweled, Need for Speed: The Run and FIFA 2012.
Nokia Asha 305 is now available in the market but Nokia Asha 311 will be available by the next week after August 12.
Both the mobile handsets run on Nokia’s S40 Asha operating system. These are touchscreen phones and comes with many nice features.
Nokia Asha 305
Nokia Asha 305 is a dual SIM phone with easy swap features which feature allows users switch between SIMs without switching phone off. It features a 3 inches WVGA resistive touchscreen. It also features a 2 megapixel fixed focus camera. It comes with 10 MB internal storage which is expandable upto 32 GB via microSd card.
It comes preloaded with Nokia Maps and Nokia browser 2.0. Nokia browser is powered by Nokia’s cloud Technology that reduces data consumption by 90 percent.
Nokia Asha 305 also features dual band and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. It is packed with a 1110 mAh battery which is expected to give 14 hours of talk time and 528 Hours of standby time.
Nokia Asha 311
Nokia Asha 311 is a nice phone that comes with bright and colourful 3 inch scratch resistant capacitive display with polarization filters for a better visual experience. It is powered by a 1 GHz processor and features 3.2 megapixel camera. It also comes pre-installed social media app Facebook and Angry Birds.
Its internal memory is expandable upto 32 GB via microSd card. Connectivity features include 3.5G and Wifi.
It also features 1110 mAh battery which is expected to give 14 hours of talk time and 696 hours of standby time.
