Micromax launches 10 inch Funbook Pro tablet for Rs 9,999

Indian mobile phone manufacturer Micromax mobile has announced two new Android smartphone in the superfone series along with Funbook Pro tablet. These new smartphone are Superfone Canvas A100 and the Superfone Pixel A90. All three devices runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich mobile operating system.

Micromax Funbook Pro is a 10.1 inch tablet and is said to be the sequel of its 7 inch funbook tablet. It features a capacitive touch screen display with 1024×600 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Arm Cortex A8 based 1.2GHz single-core processor. It comes with 1 GB DDR3 RAM and 8 GB internal storage. Internal Storage is expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card.

Company also boasts that Funbook Pro has HD video playback capabilities and also features an HDMI port.

It also features a front camera for video chats. It is pre-loaded with educational content which includes study material for CBSE, State boards and other competitive exams. To get most of it, users can download more apps from M! store.

This tablet is now available on all retail stores for Rs. 9,990 with free tata photon dingle. It also support Wi-Fi connectivity.

Apart from these tablets, company has also announced Micromax Ferrari Opus MMX144F Data card. It supports net surfing speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps. It supports multiple operating system and is available for rs. 2,499 via Snapdeal.
