LG is planning to launch one more optimus series smartphone Optimus G in India. Initially, this smartphone will be available in South Korea and then in other countries.
LG Optimus G is expected to feature 4.7 inch IPS+ True HD display that offers brighter display than Amolled display with less power consumption. It will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system but a Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update has already been announced.
It will be powered by a Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor with clock speed of 1.5 GHz and will feature quad core architecture. For better performance it will be packed with 2 GB RAM.
LG has also incorporated a 13 megapixel camera iin this smartphone. It will also come with a nice battery which will offer up to 800 recharge cycles to the device as compared to 500 recharge cycles offered by most smartphone these days.
Connectivity features of this smartphone includes 3G/4G (HSDPA, HSUPA, LTE), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with Direct/DLNA/Hotspot functionality, microUSB, Bluetooth and NFC.

According to reports, this device will be showcased in the upcoming IFA event that will be held in Berlin scheduled on 31st of august.
The Optimus G will become available in South Korea in October; in Japan in October or November; and in the rest of the world later this year.
