LG has now added one more smartphone in its L series called Optimus L9. Ths smartphone features Android 4.0 ICS and comes with powerful 1 GHz processor.

LG Optimus L9 features a 4.7 inches IPS display but company didn’t provide more information about resolution. It also features a 5 megapixel camera and a front camera for video calls. It comes with 1 GB DDR2 RAM. The phone is also packed with a 2,150 mAh SiO+ battery.

“The Optimus L9 is a great smartphone that appeals to every consumer. LG will continue to offer differentiated value through the Optimus L9 and strengthen our position in the smartphone market,” said Dr. Jongseok Park, President and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company.

This smartphone has bundled QTranslator which can not only words, but also entire sentences and phrases. It can also detect characters written on images with its advanced OCR technology. So we can translate text on images or by using its camera.
