HCL Infosystems has announced a new Android tablet called HCL ME Y2. This tablet comes with 3G connectivity with inbuilt SIM slot. It is now available in all retail stores and online retailers for Rs. 14.999.
HCL ME Y2 is powered by Cortex A9 1 GHz processor with 1 GB RAM. It features a 7-inch multi-touch capacitive screen with a 1024*600 pixel resolution display. It comes with 8 GB internal memory which is expandable upto 32 Gb via microSD card.
HCL ME Y2 runs on Google;s mobile operating system Android 4.0.3 ICe Cream Sandwich. It features a 2 megapixel camera at the back of the device along with a 0.3 megapixel front camera for video calling and video chatting with HD display.
This tablet also features a mini USB and a mini HDMI port. Connectivity features of this tablet includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G. It is packed with a robust 4000 mAH battery to deliver long hours of high-definition audio and video playback.
The HCL ME Y2 will be supported by an integrated back up service – HCL Touch, a 24X7 one touch service facility.
