Today, At 15th August India is celebrating its 65th Independence day. Google India is also doing the same by adding a nice doodle at home page.

It is a nice doodle a peacock colored with the colors of Indian national Flag. This is a proud day for all Indian people.

Google has been adding doodle for Indian Independence day since 2003. Most of the Google doodles had the Indian national flag as the inspiration.

The 2011 doodle featured a sketch of the 17th century fort, which has an important place in the history of Delhi and that of India.

Actually, this doodle came late online. People were waiting for Google Independence day doodle since 12 O’clock night but there was Julia Child’s 100th birthday for today. It was disappointing at that moment because Google had already celebrated Pakistan’s Independence day. We thought that Google will not add doodle for Indian Independence day because of Indian antitrust body investigation. Later Google has added a beautiful doodle at both on Google India and Google.com home page.
