On Monday, Facebook has announced that groups are now migrated to a new format. This new format is designed to share information with small groups of people.

All the group photos and wall posts will be available in the new group. Discussions will be converted to become wall posts. But group officer titles, network and info box under the old group picture will not be available.

In this new group, now you will be able to know who has seen your post and when. You will see a tick mark with the number of people who have seen the post. Hover the mouse over this will show the name of person with the time when the post was seen by that person.

If you are the member of a group, you will have an option to migrate with the group or not. If you visited the group recently and clicked the link to continue your membership, you will remain a member of the group once it’s migrated.
