VLC for Android Now available

Video Lan team has now announced their popular media player, VLC, for android. This free app is still in beta and is available to download from Google Play Store. This app is available to download in all countries except US and Canada.

This Android app comes with many device specific restrictions. It can only be installed on devices NEON CPU (ARM) And running on Android 2.1 or higher. But developers also promised to release for Tegra 2 and ARMv6 devices in few days.

As the app is just in beta stage, it is slower than the final release. Company also mentioned that the app is not stable and aims power users and hackers. It will also have some bugs. But it is so popular that the app has already seen lots of downloads.
