Spice launches m6688 with WiFi for Rs 3,800

Spice has silently launched a new dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone, Spice m6688 in India. Spice m66988 is a touchscreen phone with Wifi only for the price of Rs. 3800.

This phone features a 3.2 inch touch screen with 400×240 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 312 MHz processor. Although processor is low but it is enough for this Spice specific operating system The phone comes with a Comet user interface and iHome user interface, which is a proprietary user interface based on Java used by Spice.

Spice m6688 has a 3.2 megapixel camera which also features video recording. It comes with 43.8 MB internal storage which can be expanded upto 8 Gb via microSD card.

Connectivity option of this phone includes Bluetooth, USB, WiFi, GPRS and EDGE connectivity. It supports MP3, WAV and MIDI audio formats. It also has 3.5 mm jack and FM radio with voice recording.

It is packed with 1000mAh battery that promises 4 hours of talktime on a single charge.

Few days back, Spice had announced Spice Mi-285 Android QWERTY phone. It is also a DUAL sim smartphone with 2.8 inch capacitive display. It also has 3.2 megapixel camera with a  front VG camera. Other features of this smartphone GPS, A-GPS, analog TV, proximity sensor, push email, GTalk, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity.
