Nokia has finally launched its entry level windows phone smartphone, Nokia Lumia 610 in India. But the price of smartphone is more than we has reported yesterday. It has been launched with the price tag of Rs 12,999.

Nokia Lumia is the cheapest Lumia smartphone based on Windows Phone tango and was announced back on February during the Mobile World Congress.

Nokia Lumia is powered by 800 MHz processor, 256 MB ram and 8 GB internal memory.The device features a 3.7-inch WVGA TFT LCD touchscreen display. This device also has a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and a LED flash.

Nokia Lumia 610 has low hardware specification, so tango OS is best for this and it will not get another update. It comes pre-installed with most of Nokia apps including Nokia Music, Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive. Lumia 610 users can also download apps from Windows Phone marketplace. But they need to check software requirement first. This smartphone only has 256 MB RAM which is not enough for most of th popular games including Angry Birds.

Nokia Lumia 610 will be available in four colours – White, Black, Magenta and Cyan. It is packed with a Standard Li-Ion 1300 mAh (BP-3L) battery which gives stand by upto 670 hours on 2G and upto 720 hours on 3G network.
