A well-known Face of tech world, Marissa Mayer who had been working for Google Since last 13 years, is now new CEO of Yahoo.

Yahoo was in search for a strong leader for past few months. It also appointed Scott Thompson who had to left the company due to resume scandal. He lied in his resume about his graduation. Scott Thompson was selected as Yahoo CEO back in January, 2012 but he never had a good experience. In his leadership, Yahoo posted loss and closed many projects.

Marissa joined Google in 1999 and was the employee number 20 at Google. She had an important role in the success of Google. He was responsible for more than 100 new features and products in the search.

Now Merissa has many new challenges as Yahoo CEO. It will be interesting to see a woman CEO of Yahoo again and her leadership. Although, there is no doubt about her talent, but we can not say how she will perform. As a CEO, she will have to select Yahoo’s mission which was unclear to Yahoo from past few months. She must restore Yahoo’s ability to innovate, repair its image with advertisers and customers, and inject some energy into the depleted work force, which has been bruised and battered by layoffs and a cratering stock price.
