LG has also launched its first quad core tegra 3 smartphone, LG Optimus 4X HD in India. This smartphone was first announced earlier in February at MWC 2012.

LG Optimus 4X HD is now available for Rs 34,990 is all leading retail stroes across India.

LG Optimus 4X HD is powered by a 4.7 inch True HD IPS capacitive touch screen display with 331 PPI with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Quad-core Tegra 3 processor and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich mobile operating system.

It features a 8 megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and a 1.3 megapixel camera at the front of the device for video calls.

It comes with 1GB LP DDR2 RAM and 16 GB internal memory (12 GB user available). Internal storage is also expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

The connectivity features include, 3G, Wi-Fi with DLNA , Bluetooth, aGPS, HDMI via MHL and NFC. It has 2,150 mAh Lithium Ion battery. It offers 730 hours of standby time and more than 9 hours of talk time.
