As announced by Google in I/O Conference last month, Google+ app for iPad is now available to download from Apple App Store.
This app aims to connect users with their friends on Google+ on the go. Google+ app for iPad comes with support of all the important feature of Google+ including hangout and events. Google+ Hangout on iPhone and iPad allows users to start a video chat up to 9 friends who are online. You can also stream the conversation over AirPlay to your Apple TV.
Designed to be more touch and type friendly, the new Google+ for iPad app supports pinch and zoom gesture to access a particular post and then add a comment to it. In this app, news feed is based on the popularity. It means a popular post of your friend will be shown at the top of the stream. It also allows easy sharing and users can simply use two fingers to re-share the post with others.
This app also has a built in instant messenger which allow users to chat with online friends within the app. Users can also filter stream based on the near by location. So you can see what people newar you are saying and sharing.
This app made photo sharing very easy and allows direct photo sharing on events. Users can also turn on Instant Upload to sync photos from their phone to a private Google+ album.
On iPad, it supports full ratina display and users can enjoy high-resolution images on Retina display devices
Google+ has completed its one year but it was fail to gain popularity. But it offers some nice features with attractive design. Google+ app is available on all mobile platforms. If we compare it with Facebook, Google+ app gives better performance experience than Facebook app.
