Facebook is now bringing timeline profile for pages on mobile platforms. Timeline for pages was launched back in February 2012. Now you will see timeline profile of a Facebook page with its cover pic, information, like button on mobile devices. After that it shows photos and total number of Facebook likes.
I have not seen timeline for my pages on the mobile devices, but saw many people sharing pics of mobile timeline view on Facebook.
Timeline has different looks in different devices. On some platforms, icons are small but for some, icons are large. But overall timeline is being rolled out. If you are the admin of a Facebook page, you can check timeline for your Facebook page in your mobile device.
Previously, the mobile version of Pages would show you simply the profile picture for the Page, with the category and amount of likes the page had listed in small print below it along with a Like button.
Timeline on mobile for user’s profile was launched at the same time it was launched on the web. But it took time to launch it for Facebook pages.
The addition of a cover photo and page description give users a clearer idea what the page is about and the larger Like button is a better call to action, though we might see Facebook experiment with where to place the button.
These changes make Facebook experience more better and consistent. Facebook is also trying to keep users interested on Facebook. This is the reason why Facebook tries to launch new features an update in almost every week.
