In a press conference, at its headquarters in San Francisco, gaming giant Zynga has announced big plans for future of the company. It has also announced an API for both Zynga developers and third parties.
It has announced a gaming network called “Zynga with Friends.” This gaming network aims to help gamers to find players with same gaming interest and gaming style. Gamers will be able to connect and communicate with other gamers.
With Zynga With Friends, you will get all the information about the game at one place. You will know what challengers you have, what gifts you have received and who are online to play with. You will also get all the stats and streaming at one place. Zynga has also rolled out a chat feature and profiles for this new network. This new chat feature will also support multiplayer chat. Zynga has also announced that muliplayer games are also on the way. It will first launch with Bubble Safari and then come to other titles in the Zynga With Friends network in the future.
Zynga has come with poker for Facebook in 2007. Now it is ruling in social gaming with various games on Facebook and on its website.
“We founded Zynga with the simple premise that people could put play back in their lives, ””Zynga CEO Mark Pincus said at the event. “We started with some pretty simple ideas, that today seem even more simple. We started with a poker table where you could send your friends drinks and dancing gnomes.”
Company has also revelaed new third-party developers on Zynga.com include Majesco, 50 Cubes and Portalarium.
