Chinese Mobile phone manufacturer had announced world’s thinnest mobile phone, ZTE Athena. This smartphone claims to have only 6.2 mm thickness which makes it the thinnest smartphone till date.

A chinese micro blogging network has posted some details of ZTE Athena. Accordig to that, this smartphone is powered by multi-core Cortex-A15 based mobile processor and will come with a IPS panel display with 720p HD native resolution.
This smartphone will run on Google’s mobile operating system and will also feature 64 GB onborad storage.

We cannot guess when this smartphone will hit the market and will be avilable for the general consumers. So at this moment, the thinnest smartphone in the market is the Motorola Droid Razr which has 7.1 mm thickness.
