Microsoft to Buy Yammer for $1 Billion [Report]

According to Bloomberg, Microsoft is in talks to buy social media software company, Yammer. The deal is expected to cross $1 billion.

It was not certain when the deal would be completed and formally announced. Nobody from the both companies are ready to comment on this deal

Yammer provides Facebook like software to organizations which allow employees post news, share link and ask questions. This software made the company popular. Yammer says its social networks are used by more than 200,000 companies worldwide. It also says that it counts more than 80 percent of Fortune 500 companies as clients.
