LG has launched its first triple sim phone, LG A290 in India. This triple SIM phone was announced back in February and now it is available for Rs. 4100. It has Triple Standby and has Hard Key to switch between SIM cards.
LG A290 features a 2.2-inch (176 x 220 pixels) 262K Colour TFT LCD display. It also has a 1.3 megapixel CMOS fixed focus camera with 4x digital zoom and Video Recording at 15 fps.
Other features of LG A290 includes FM Radio with recording, USB 2.0, GPRS (Class 12), Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Torch light and 19 MB internal memory. Internal memory can be expanded upto 32 GB via microSD card.
It has 1500 mAh battery that would offer up to 23.5 hours talk time and up to 882 hours Standby.

In India, featured phones with multiple SIM supports are really popular. LG has launched this Triple SIM phone to get few customers of low cost market. LG has not done anything right in Indian market even if the company is in market for years. It will have to do something different with good marketing strategy to get market share.
