MediaTek, Gameloft teamup for mobile gaming

Semiconductor company MediaTek has announced a new partnership with gaming company Gameloft to to develop games for phones based on MediaTek’s chipsets.

According to mediaTek, gaming is important for mobiles so this deal will come with better results. Gameloft has also begun to allocate dedicated R&D team and resource for the development of games that will run on MediaTek’s mobile phone platforms. Development teams in France, Vietnam and China will all work on games that will run on MediaTek-based phones, according to a statement.

Gameloft will offer some high quality games supported by MediaTek’s high performance mobile platforms that can meet the increasing demands of gamers regarding speed and multimedia features.

MediaTek has also announed its latest chip MT6255 that will come preloaded with racing game Asphalt 6: Adrenaline as well as trial versions of Block Breaker 3, Assassin’s Creed Revelations and Brain Challenge 3.
