Karbonn launches KT-21 Express with TV channels

Karbonn Mobile has launched a new mobile phone KT-21 Express for Rs 4,990. This mobile phone comes with an application that claims to provide access to over 50 free-to-air television channels on 2G network. To access these TV channels, users need to have working internet connection on the mobile phone.

“The Karbonn KT-21 Express has NexgTV application which allows users to watch more than 50 live TV Channels on the phone using 2G network. At present these are all free to air channels,” Karbonn Mobiles’ Executive Director Shashin Devsare said here today.

This is a dual sim touch screen mobile phone. It also has a 3.2 megapixel camera with Flash. Its memory can be expanded up to 32 Gb via microSD cards.

The phone has Karbonn Instant Messenger (KIM), instant messaging service, without paying extra charges.
“The messenger will work on the already subscribed mobile internet pack,” Devsare added.

For connectivity the phone supports PC Sync, Bluetooth, GPRS, WAP and EDGE. The other features include 3.5mm audio jack, Proximity and Motion Sensor, Mobile Tracker, dual torch.

Karbonn KT-21 Express also has push mail facility that allows the handset user to access E-mails to integrate email accounts like Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL, GMail, Outlook, etc, on their devices.
