Karbonn mobile has launched its latest Android smartphone Karbonn A9 in India. This smartphone is now available in some of online retailers for Rs 9,000.

Karbonn A9 is an entry level Android phone which is powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Google’s mobile operating system Android Gingerbread.

It features a 3.8 inch capacitive touch input system based display featuring a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. This is a dual sim phone with a 3G and 2.5G connectivity based connections.

It comes with a 5 megapixel camera that supports video recording and a front VGA camera for video calling and video chats. It comes with 1 GB of onboard storage which can be expanded upto 32 GB via microSD cards. Other features of the smartphone includes 3G, EDGE/GPRS, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS support for Google Maps, Bluetooth with A2DP and USB 2.0 (Micro) and FM Radio.

It comes pack with a 1600 mAH battry which should be good enough for a day’s worth of heavy or 2 days worth of light/medium usage.

It is available on Flipkart for Rs 9,199 and for Rs 8,999 on infibeam.
