There are many online services are available which allows users to send free SMS across India. But Android users can do this directly from the smartphone with a nice app called, Free SMS India.

Free SMS India is a nice Android app which allows users to send free SMS to any mobile phone in India direct from the smartphone. This app sends SMS with free SMS gateways like Way2SMS, FullonSMS, Site2SMS, 160by2, SMS440, IndyaRocks and YouMint. The only thing you need to have is an working internet connection on your smartphone.  Application is optimized to decrease data usage and your SMS is sent in few Kb of data.

This app uses users’ account in all the supported free SMS gateways and then sends sms through it. It means, you will have to add your Way2sms account or other account from the supported websites to send free SMS.

It has a nice GUI and easy to use interface. Anyone, having account in any of these SMS gateway can use this app easily.

One thing to note that this app is not the official app for any of the SMS gateways/services listed above.

This app is available for free to download from Google Play Store. Download and install this app in our Android smartphone, select the free SMS gateway and send free SMS.
