Acer to launch Iconia Tab A510 in India by June

Acer has now decided to bring its first Quad code Android tablet in Indian Market, According to some sources, Acer will is set to launch Iconia Tab A510 in India by June this year.

A spokesperson from the company said,”Acer is in the process of finalising plans and will launch the Iconia A510 in next two months in India.”

“However, there is no plan as of now to launch the dual core processor totting Iconia A200 tablet in India,” he added.

Acer Iconia Tab A510 is a 10.1 inches tablet with 1280×800 pixel resolution touch screen display. It is powered by quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor with 1 GB LPDDR2 memory. It also comes with 32 GB on-board storage.

Acer Iconia Tab A510 runs on Google’s latest mobile operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It comes with a high quality 5 mega pixels camera at the back of the device and a front facing HD camera. Other feature of this tablet includes Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, GPS, combo audio jack, micro USB and micro HDMI.

I has inbuilt Dolby Mobile 3+ with the twin stereo speakers for better sound quality.

It is powered by a big Lithium Polymer 36.26 Watts battery (9800 mAH).

Acer will launch this tablet in WiFi and WiFi+ 3G versions but company has yet to reveal the prices. We can expect the orice to be more than Rs. 24,000.
