Twitter has just pushed an update to the latest version of its iOS and Android apps. This brings some much needed features to these apps which include Discover tab, better support for search and support for push notifications for interactions.
Discover tab can be used to browse activity sream which will appear right under the Stories section in the Discover tab. This activity stream includes all updated which are tweets favorited or retweeted by the people you follow.
Now Twitter has also added easy to use search feature which also have a spelling suggestions. With this search, now finding people is much more faster. You can start typing the first or last name or username of the person you’re looking for and the name will autocomplete for people that you follow.
Twitter has also added support for push notifications which now let you know whenever somebody retweets you, favorites one of your tweets or when somebody new follows you.
