Micromax has launched its first tablet which costs only Rs 6,499. This tablet is caled Funbook with many impressive features.

This tablet is powered by Cortex A8 processor, 1.2 Ghz processor, with Dual Mail 400 – 2D/3D graphics processor and runs on Android 4.0 mobile operating system. This tablet features a 7 inches capacitive touchscreen with 800×480 pixel resolution and in 16: 9 ratio. It comes with a VGA (0.3 megapixel) front camera for video chats calling.

It has 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. Internal memory can be expanded upto 32 GB through an external micro SD card.

It has WiFi and 3G connection through a dongle. This tablet comes with an offer in which users get Tata Photon EVDO data card for free with the tablet with 1GB of free data download for two months.

This tablet also has a HDMI port to connect tablet to a TV. It supports various audio, video formats and can also play HD movies. It also has accelerometer and gravity sensor for better gaming experience.

It will also come with Micromax’s e-learning app which will provide study materials for student of class 1 to degree courses. It will have preparatory materials for medical, engineering and MBA.

It has a 2800 mAh which will give up to five hours of browsing.
