Mercury has launched another Android tablet mTab Neo2 which runs on Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread platform. This tablet comes with Samsung chipset and costs Rs 14,999. Company has launched mTab 2 in January which did not get good response from customers

Mercury mTab Neo2 is powered by 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 multi tasking dual core processor with 512 MB RAM. This tablet runs on Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread platform and will get ICS update in next four weeks.

This product comes with all the features one can ask for in the current tablet ecosystem and a little more with the upgrade to Android 4.0. It’s a beautifully bundled feature rich product from Mercury. The long battery life is the topping the ice which will surely attract more customers and hence will help our partners sell more,” said Sushmita Das, country manager – India, Kobian.

It features a 7 inches capacitive screen with high quality HD resolution for the richer viewing of widescreen movies. It comes with 8 GB on board storage which can be expanded upto 32 GB via microSD card.

It offers front and rear-facing dual cameras, as well as a HDMI out port, to stream HD quality video. It also has SIM calling feature which allow allows users to make calles. It has Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS for connectivity. It also has a nice battery which can deliver 6 hours of battery life
