One of the leading mobile phone company, Intex has launched a new mobile phone, Intex Yuva. This phone has a long battery life. It has 2100 mAh battery which claims to offer talk-time of up to 8 hours and standby time of up to 500 hours.

This mobile phone has a 2.6 inches screen and features dual sim facility. It has a 1.3 mega pixel camera.

It also features an audio player which can play MP3 and AMR along with video player which supports AVI, 3GP, MP4. It also has FM with recording and sound recorder. Its in-built memory can be expanded upto 16 GB.

It has bluetooth and USB connect with PC for data transfer. It also has a LED torch and supports GPRS, WAP and MMS for internet access.

Sanjay Kumar, general manager, mobile business, Intex Technologies said, “Young people spend hours with their phones but they seldom find time to continuously charge it. Anticipating the need, Intex now offers a light weight phone with a long life battery – the Intex Yuva. Even in places where consumers face long hours of power cuts, they can remain connected through this phone.”

It also has a long phone book which is capable of storing 1000 in phone memory and 5000 in the memory card. It also allows SMS backup and auto call record.

Intex Yuva is priced at Rs 2,890 (MRP) and is available in three colours – black, white and silver.
