HCL launches My Edu Tab series tablets starting from Rs 7,999

HCL has announced 3 new tablets in India starting from Rs. 7,999. These tablets are My Edu Tab U1, My Edu Tab K12 and My Edu Tab HE. First tablet My Edu Tab U1 costs Rs. 7,999 and target general users. Other two tablets are for students which cost Rs 11,499 Rs 9,999 respectively.

HCL launches My Edu Tab series tablets

My Edu Tab K12 is meant for students up to class 12th while My Edu Tab HE is for college going students. Both tablets comes with students specific applications pre-installed. My Edu Tab K12 users will get this content for free for one year while My Edu Tab HE owners can enjoy the contents for three years. Both also comes with HCL cloud storage.
All three tablets have identical specification.

These tablets are powered by 1 GHz Arm Cortex A8 processor and 512 MB RAM. All tablets run on Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich operating system. These tablets feature 0.3 megapixel front camera.

These tablet have no access to Google Play Store bt users can access HCL Me App Store from where users can download applications.
