Video game giant, Activision has announced its game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for free to play on Steam during this weekend. All interested gamers who want to enjoy this free weekend offer are advised to pre-load the game so that they can start playing exactly when the free weekend begins.

The free weekend will start on Thursday at 6 PM Greenwich Mean Time and all players will be able to enjoy every multiplayer mode the game has to offer.

With this offer company want to show its blockbuster shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to new gamers. This will surly give a boost to the sales of the game.

Similar kind of offer was also announced by Microsoft for Xbox Live free users to boots the sale. In which free users were able to access all entertainment apps on Xbox Live console for the last weekend.
