Sony Xperia S will be available in India from the 1st week of April for the price of Rs.30,000. This smartphone was announced during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, USA, earlier this year.

Sony Xperia S is the first smartphone released after the company acquired shares of Ericsson and carry Sony logo. Sony Xperia S smartphone is officially certified PlayStation. This is a perfect smartphone for gaming and have access to the Sony PlayStation store and all the content that is available on it.

Sony Xperia S is powered by 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon MSM 8206 processor with 1 GB RAM. It comes with Android 2.3.7 operating system and will get Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 soon.

It features a 4.3 inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. It has 12 mega pixels camera which is capable of recoding full HD video. Its camera is equiped which Sony’s Exmor sensor technology that helps in taking quality images in low light conditions.

It has all the latest connectivity features including 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC.
