Few days back, Rovio has released Angry Birds Space for Android, iOS, Mac and PC. But it missed the growing Windows Phone Platform. Initially company said that there is no plan for the Windows Phone version of the game. But Rovio’s chief executive officer, Mikael Hed, later clarified to Reuters that the game will eventually be rolled out for the Windows Phone platform.
Rovio wants to released the game for all the major mobile platforms. So it has released it for iOS and Android. There is another factor that the cost of supplying the game on Windows Phone and the work involved to technically support the game is higher compared to that on iOS or Android OS.
Rovio’s chief said that the Windows Phone version will hit the Windows Phone Marketplace soon. But he did not estimated arrival dates.
