Nokia India has just announced that Nokia Asha 303 is now available in India. This phone is tagged with a price of Rs 8,899 but customers will get better offer from online retailers. Flipkart is offering the mobile for only Rs 7765, but for the moment the handset is “Out of stock.”

Nokia Asha 303 mobile phone is based on S40 operating system and offers touch and type input. It has a 2.6 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 240 x 320 pixel resolution and a proximity sensor. It also features a full QWERTY keyboard.

Nokia Asha 303 is powered by a powerful 1 GHz single core processor and packs 256 MB of ROM and 128 MB of RAM. It comes with 170 MB of onboard internal memory (100 MB user available) and microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB.

It has a 3.2-megapixel camera with fixed focus, face detection and video recording.

The phone comes with good social networking integration and messaging apps, including Whatsapp, Facebook and Twitter. Other apps includes Angry Birds Lite, Mobile TV with Zenga TV and Nokia Music Unlimited.

It guves better connecivity with HSDPA (10.2Mbps), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, as well as microUSB HS.
