Intex has just announced its first Android tablet, Intex i-Tab in India. This tablet runs on Google’s mobile Operating System Android 2.3 Gingerbread. This tablet is available for Rs. 11,900.
Intex i-Tab is powered by 1 GHz single-core processor. It has a 8-inch capacitive touchscreen display. It has 8 GB onboard memory which can be expanded upto 32 GB with microSD card.
This tablet features a built-in GPS receiver, as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support. It also comes with many pre-loaded apps including most popular mobile game Angry Birds and office suit.
Intex also has plans to expand the series of its Android tablet with some 3G tablets. It also plans some tablet with 7- and 10-inch displays. With this tablet company is targeting college going youth and housewives and making strategies accordingly.
