Now enjoy Angry Birds in the space. Rovio has just announced the latest update of Angry Birds franchise from space where there’s no gravitation. Angry Birds Space also got NASA astronaut Don Petit catapulting birds at pigs in the International Space Station, orbiting 242 miles above Earth. There are various gravitational fields that will change the trajectory of catapulted birds. But all the birds weapon and pigs are still there in the game which feels like the game is Angry Birds in new avatar.

“This collaboration began with a simple Twitter exchange about birds and pigs in space, and it has grown into a tremendous outreach and education opportunity,” added David Weaver, associate administrator for communications at NASA Headquarters in Washington, in a statement. “Games are fun and entertaining, but they also can be inspirational and informative. This ongoing collaboration with Rovio and Angry Birds is an exciting way to get people engaged with NASA’s missions of exploration and discovery, and get students energized about future careers in science and technology.”

Angry Birds Space will ship with 60 levels, new Angry Birds characters, new superpowers, and new gameplay. More levels will be available both as free regular updates, as well as in-app purchases. The game will be available from March 22 on  iOS, Android, PC, and Mac. See the video trailer.
