LinkedIn Hits 150 Million Members milestone, posted $522.2 million revenue

LinkedIn announced its 2011 Q4 results and yearly revenue. LinkedIn has also announced more than 150 million users.

LinkedIn announced on thursday that it has 150 million members in social network of professionals. Company has added 20 million new members in past 3 months.

These numbers were disclosed in a press release in which company announced its fourth quarter and full-year 2011 results. Company has posted record revenue of $167.7 million in Q4 which is more than analysts were expecting. If we compare from thr Q4 earning of 2010 and 2011, LinkedIn has seen 105% jump. Revenues for full-year 2011 was $522.2 million, a 115% increase over 2010′s $243.1 million.

“Q4 once again exceeded our expectations for member engagement and business growth. It was a fitting end to a memorable year in which we reinforced our position as the pre-eminent professional network on the web,” said Jeff Weiner, CEO of LinkedIn. “We believe continued focus on our members and technology infrastructure positions us well for accelerated product innovation in 2012.”
