Hotmail suffered signin problem, service is up now

Microsoft’s Hotmail service was down and users were not able to login into theri email accounts for few hours. Now the problem has been fixed and the service is running fine.

At the time of outage, Company had also created a page where users could check the status of the service and more info about this outage. Micrsoft also tweeted,”We’re aware of sign-in issues – we’re investigating and working to get them fixed.”

All other Microsoft services including Calendar, Messenger, SkyDrive, Social updates and other services were working fine. Only Hotmail had signin problem where users were seeing an error page while signing in.

Service is now back and working. Status page says that all the services are now running Users can now login and check their mails.
